Revenge or Repeat? Eubank vs Benn 2

As though the fight of the year was not enough, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn have decided to treat fans to another mega fight, with, if possible, even more anticipation and excitement.

Their first meeting was nothing less than an edge-of-your-seat display. Non-stop action from two warriors, both carrying the weight of their fathers’ legacies, and doing them proud. A tremendous feat.

The whole storyline of that fight was nothing short of cinematic. From the build up, to Chris Eubank Snr arriving unexpectedly, to the walkouts, then culminating in the best fight of the year!

However, there doesn’t seem to be any love lost between the two fighters. There is certainly respect, the kind that can only be earned through twelve brutal rounds together, but the animosity still lingers.

Ignorance is bliss. Will Round 13 live up to the hype? Or will both fighters be more cautious and calculated after having survived twelve punishing rounds?

Yes, the first fight gives both men something to dissect and game-plan around, a reason, perhaps, why Eubank has teamed back up with the legendary BoMac. Under his tutelage, we already saw clear adjustments and improvements in Eubank’s second fight with Liam Smith. But a more calculated approach could also open the door to a more aggressive strategy, something that might favour Conor Benn.

Both men have tasted each other’s power. Will that lead to caution? Or will it spark the mindset: “You can’t hurt me with your best shot.”

Either way, we are in for a treat. These two warriors will put it all on the line for us fans once again!
